Our customer in Barnsley had been looking around for a new front door for a while.
After many weeks of looking they had seen nothing that they found to be suitable or to their taste.
Originally from Romania, our customer started to look online in their home country.
They found a door that they fell in love with pretty quickly so the door was ordered.
The door was shipped overseas and was received pretty quickly.
The door they ordered was a completely different size to the current door so they started to look round for local contractors who could install this on their behalf.
Due to this been a bespoke door that most contractors had not seen the like of before and the fact that this was not a straight forward swap over, they struggled to get anyone who would be willing to install it.
That is until they came across our Facebook and Instagram pages where we regularly post updates of our recent works.
We were contacted and asked to take a look to see if we could help which of course we did.
After a short discussion we agreed to install the door at a time of their own choosing.
The existing door was removed and the opening increased to accommodate the new door.
Support was installed for the existing brickwork.
The brickwork was made good externally and the internal areas made good by means of plastering and timberwork.
All waste was removed from site – all done in a day and a half.
