Masonry Protection Cream is a silane-siloxane cream emulsion.
It is applied to brick, stone, concrete, render and masonry walls using a brush or roller.
Once applied, the cream will absorb into and bond with the building materials, making them waterproof without changing their appearance.
The treated wall is still vapour-permeable, meaning damp walls can dry out and buildings are able to breathe.
Why Use Masonry Waterproofing Cream?
Building materials such as brick, stone and mortar can be highly water-absorbent and exposure to wind-driven rain can lead to rain penetration.
Rain penetration on masonry can lead to damp patches, blistering paint, an increased likelihood of mould growth and an increased rate of heat loss.
A single coat of Masonry Waterproofing Cream can protect walls and Internal Wall Insulation (IWI) from rain penetration for 25 years.
